For those who are too nervous about doing this kind of work, there are technicians who are fully employed doing this kind of work. The technician can also source the part if necessary but to save a few dollars it may be better for the client to do this part and present the part and the machine to the technician. The great thing about fixing equipment like this is that the resources of the world are being saved constantly. Plastic takes an inordinate amount of oil products to produce and once thrown away, the whole thing will not break down for many years to come. If someone must have something new or the latest gadget on the market, try donating the old one to some technical school or college so that the students can have a chance at having hands on experience of taking one to pieces and putting it back together. Alternatively, give the piece to a charity which sends the gadgets to third world countries to enable kids to use the machines until they are defunct.
